The Amazon Rain forest is the biggest rain forest in the world. It is located in the northern part of Brazil. Rain forests provide things that we need in our everyday lives. In Brazil the Amazon rain forest is going through deforestation, which is the action of clearing wild trees. The Amazon rain forest provides us with things and food like, "bananas, rice, corn, coffee, and citrus fruits. Also, the rain forest produces plants that are used in medicine as said in "Rain forest Alliance." One of the problems in the Amazon is logging, the clearing of trees.

     When people log they are endangering the Amazon, logging also hurts the air. If people keep logging in the Amazon rain forest they are going to change they forests composition by removing valuable trees like mahogany. logging also adds more carbon dioxide to the air than cars and trucks, like stated in "Nature and Culture.org." It's not only the logging that hurts the Amazon, it's the farming and mining. Farming hurts the Amazon because agricultural use of some rain forest land proves to be a failure because of the nutrient-deficient acidic soil of those forests. Mining hurts, the amazon because mining releases dust and chemicals into the air that pollutes the air.

       If we destroy the rain forest than where would all the animals live and how would we get some our resources. Rain forests help us a lot which is why we shouldn't damage the environment. From what I researched it said that the president it not doing anything about it but I think that they should be making it illegal to log, farm. and min in the forest.

      From ALJAZEERA.com it states that President Jair Bolsonaro it not doing anything and is lying about Brazil's National Institute for Space Research and is saying that the deforestation rates on the Amazon are fine. Also in "The guardian.com" it states that Bolsonarism is not only hurting Brazil but is hurting the world because it destroys the forest that is strategically vital to controlling global heating. The Amazon looked great before deforestation. Please join me in the fight to save the Amazon rain forest.
