With "Oldschool Runescape" being around for three (almost four) years now we the community and the Oldschool Runescape development team have realized that to keep the game we knew and loved alive we needed change - but change that is done right. Oldschool Runescape needs to update while keeping the spirit of what makes Runescape.... well Runescape. One update that I think should be worked on is the addition of optional HD graphics. In 2008 we saw a huge improvement to the look of Runescape. Making the game look more polished while also keeping the iconic looks of weapons and towns. This continued until 2010 when they started to change weapons, armor, ect. With Oldschool now back in the game I think a natural progression of the game would be to allow players to have a more polished look of the game, while also keeping the iconic symbols. Having it optional would allow it so those who prefer the more retro look could keep it while those who want the updated look can have it - while not impacting the game in any negative way at all. This will attract players that used to play the game (because this update would be huge news) a lot of traction would be gained on youtube like when people were voting for the GE. And the game would be more marketable for new players and more attractive to old players that hav enot come back yet.
