The Mangrove forest Coringa has saved the town of Kakinada from 7 cyclones and had a minimum impact during Tsunami- as the Mangrove forest breaks the high tides from entering the low lands,besides this  the forest is home to over 125lac bird species and 35 Plant species.

Kakinada is a proposed smart city with population of 45lac and the construction project initiated by Andhra Pradesh Government in Dummulapeta and Parlopeta areas in Kakinada would remove the green cover and affect the livelihood of over a lac fishermen and the entire city of Kakinada would be flooded if not for the Mangrove forests.

Request you to make the Government understand how critical this could be and save the forests.
