Delay the release of BFB 30 to April 17th

The Issue

It has become widely known that April 9th, 2021, is the day that Pervis Payne, an innocent African-American man with an intellectual disability, will be unlawfully executed after spending several decades on death row for a murder he did not commit. For months, there has been a massive public outcry to bring justice to Payne following the unjust executions of Brandon Bernard and Dustin Higgs as April 9th quickly approaches.

However, on that same day, Jacknjellify is slated to release the 30th and final episode of the YouTube animated series Battle for BFB (formerly Battle for BFDI, "BFB" for short). Despite being highly anticipated, the coincidence of its planned release date and Payne's execution may take extremely valuable attention away from the execution and saving an innocent man's life. To avoid this, Jacknjellify should delay the release of BFB 30 until after April 9th.

Why April 17th?

1. It's the 1-year anniversary of "Post-Split" BFB, the second half of Battle for BFDI after it was split into two shows (Battle for BFB and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two).

2. It's more than a week after the execution date and would be far less disrespectful and insensitive if—worst-case scenario—we do not succeed in saving Pervis Payne. (Fun fact: BFB 27 was released the day after Brandon Bernard's execution. :/)

3. BFB's Twitter community has already agreed to attempt to get #BFB trending on April 17th for the above reasons, regardless of when BFB 30 releases.

4. It allows more time for the Jacknjellify crew to polish the final episode and tie up loose ends.

5. This is trivial in comparison, but you can't go wrong with Saturday. A similar show, Inanimate Insanity, releases a new video every Saturday, so releasing BFB 30 on the same day as an II video could garner even more excitement for both!

BFB is a show that has always been heavily influenced by its viewership. If Jacknjellify cares about their viewers, they should delay the release of their most important episode to date, and instead lend their attention on April 9th to an issue that is far more important.
