Millions of Notre Dame football fans are outraged that we cannot watch our beloved Irish’s home opener without subscribing to NBC’s new paid streaming service, Peacrap - er, I mean, Peacrack - sorry, Peacock. 

We don’t care if Peecock is $5/month or $50/month. This is about NBC taking the nation’s most loyal fan base hostage and exploiting us to sell a crummy streaming service.

For years, we - the loyal fans of the Fighting Irish - have lined the pockets of NBC by faithfully watching our Irish on Saturday afternoons. And we have been happy to do it - Go Irish!!

But this is a step too far! In the midst of this global pandemic, many of the hardest hit have been our senior citizens who continue to quarantine for their own safety. Many of those  faithful fans (and donors!!), such as my 82 year old father, don’t even know how to subscribe to an online service like Peacrock.

We are shocked and disgusted and feel betrayed by Jack Swarbrick for allowing this to happen. Through thick and thin, we have been faithful to our beloved Irish! We ask that you show the same faithfulness to us!

Jack - tell NBC that this game must be on NBC so faithful Irish fans can watch! Don’t sell us out, Jack! How much money is enough!!?!?!?
