Currently, the US faces a milkshake crisis. Milkshakes are dying due to Malts, Soft-Serves, and Frozen Yogurt. The data, while unclear and non-existent to support this claim, shows strong evidence that Milkshakes will cease to exist in 2020. Also unsupported by data, Jack in the Box has been seeing a stagnant flow of sales on their famous Old-Fashioned Thick Shake. It is just not bringing in enough boys to the yard. As it stands, I'd argue this is a direct result of it not being better than yours. Currently, the Old-Fashioned Thick Shake comes in 4 flavors: Oreo, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. This is great. I see no need for any additional flavors, although a partnership with Reese's, Twix, KitKat and/or Rolo certainly wouldn't hurt (heck, why not all of them). But I strongly believe that in order to really shake things up a bit and gain the edge over our competitors, in order to really be the cream of the crop with a cherry on top, in order to get that bread, we, as a community, need to stand up and rise together in this time of hardship, regardless of the plight of milkshakes. We need to re-brand this milkshake. Thus, I am proposing that we rename the Old-Fashioned Thick Shake to now be called the Old-Fashioned Thicc Shake.
