Stop Silencing Women

Stop Silencing Women
The Issue
In recent years Twitter has appeared ever more to be an inhospitable and arbitrarily punitive platform for women who speak out against various forms of misogyny.
More and more women’s accounts have been subject to temporary or permanent suspensions - often as a result of vexatious mass reporting.
There are too many such suspensions to list here but (perhaps signatories may wish to name one or more when they sign?) I shall focus on one suspended account as a classic example: that of @MRKHVoice / Claire Graham. Claire has been a trusted and respected part of the twitter ‘ecosystem’ for some years and her wisdom, decency and determination have inspired many. Tireless in her defence of the intersex community from ideological appropriation by those outside it, Claire has brought clarity and candour to an area beyond most people’s knowledge.
We ask that Twitter review the case of Claire Graham / @MRKHVoice who we believe is clearly a victim of targeted and concerted malicious bullying by means of groundless multiple vexatious complaints.
Please take a few minutes to read Claire's experiences here: http://mrkhvoice.com/index.php/2019/07/27/a-tale-of-twitter/
We see the silencing of women and it must stop.
Thank you
Michael Conroy
