Today we call on your Government to do what so many countries already have: accept that COVID-19 is endemic, recognize that current heavy-handed government interventions are doing more harm than good, physically financially and mentally, and immediately begin the process by which we unwind the Public Health Emergency and Orders so our country can get back to normal. 

We're moving toward a time when COVID won't disrupt our daily lives, a time when COVID won't be a constant crisis but rather will be something we can protect against and treat. 

We call on you to take swift action to lift all vaccine mandates & vaccine passports which have not stopped the spread of COVID-19, but have alienated many New Zealanders and have caused staff shortages at hospitals and other health care facilities; lift all mask mandates and the Government guidance that forces children to wear masks in schools; End the use of sign in codes and contact tracing; and insist that schools fully open so children can learn in person without restrictions.

The people of New Zealand, especially children, are in crisis. Instead of keeping us in a permanent state of emergency, it is time for this Government to put people first and stop clinging to powers and near limitless funding you currently enjoy under the Covid19 Restrictions.
