Dear Jacinda Ardern, this is not who we are!

Dear Jacinda Ardern, this is not who we are!

Dear Jacinda Ardern and the Labour Party
"It takes courage and strength to be empathetic, and I’m very proudly an empathetic and compassionate leader. I am trying to chart a different path, and that will attract criticism but I can only be true to myself and the form of leadership I believe in.” Jacinda Ardern
I am writing this petition in support of every single person that stood at parliament today, as well as those that will continue to do so. There are a vast number of New Zealanders that could not and still can't make it there for their voices to be heard. I am hoping it is received by the Jacinda Ardern quoted above, the Jacinda that l helped vote in. The Jacinda that l believed could help bring our people TOGETHER as one nation. The Jacinda that l believed could close the gap in this country on so many levels. The Jacinda that l thought cared as all of her people.
Instead l feel as l believe many New Zealanders do, that the Jacinda that is leading us now is not that Jacinda. The Jacinda that is leading us is now dividing our country Aotearoa, New Zealand in two. This current Jacinda and her Labour Government are splitting whanau, our families, and our people apart. They are turning people against people for their personal agenda.
"It is, what it is", is not good enough Jacinda. We do not want the division.
So l say this again. I am writing this petition in support of every single person that stood at the gates of Parliament today and those that continue to stand there to represent a large proportion of New Zealanders that could not make it to Wellington for their voices to be heard.
I am also writing this for the people that were at Parliament today so that their voices are heard louder than they were and so they aren't just dismissed by their country's leader on national television as being a minority of New Zealanders like they are not human.
I am writing this for the people that don't want the vaccine. The ones that have never had vaccines. The ones that believe in the natural way of doing things and their own immune system. The ones that wish to use Rongoā Māori, the traditional Māori healing system.
I am writing this for the people who's personal faith does not align with putting this foreign matter in their body, for whatever reason their rationale is.
I am writing this for the people that were scared but had the vaccine anyway out of good faith and trust in the Government who are now suffering serious life changing side effects and are not being supported or listened to. Just shut down, brushed aside and ignored.
I am writing this for the people that would get a vaccine but the one they would trust isn't available yet.
I am writing this for the people that have had the vaccine because they were coerced into it by the fact that they would lose their job. Not because they felt safe and comfortable getting it, but because they felt like they had no other choice.
I am writing this for the people that are still fighting between getting the vaccine and giving up their job.
I am writing this for the people working in industries that are already understaffed and overworked that are now going to have to take on a heavier workload because those industries are going to lose essential staff that perform vital roles.
I am writing this for the people that got double vaxxed for their vaccine passport and to keep their jobs who are now being told they need a booster shot or the passport with expire.
I am writing this for the children that have to wear masks in this horrific heat who are attempting too learn while doing as you and your Government made it mandatory.
I am writing this for the innocence people that where attempting to peacefully protest before they were abused two days ago by the police officers that were called in.
I am writing this as your version of "Be kind" seems to only matter when people are doing as you wish for them too and that is not good enough either. I am ashamed that l thought more of you.
I am writing this for our children and our youth, our future generation, because they do not need to grow up in a divided society. They do not need to be brought up believing it's OK to look down on a person because they had different ideals, different beliefs. I am writing this as they don't need to be dealing with wearing masks at school or living with the pressure of getting the vaccine and then the booster and then another booster just to be able to do what their friends do. Our Child, our Tamariki do not need this.
I am writing this because you are NOT LISTENING OR KNOWLEDGING your people.
I am writing this for EVERY NEW ZEALANDER who's voice, choices, rights and concerns have not been heard or listened to.
These people aren't all antivax, as the media and the Government would like to believe. Some are, yes, but many are standing up and fighting for people to have the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE. They are fighting for the people that don't want the jab but will lose their job if they don't get it.They are fighting for the future rights and freedoms of our children. They are fighting for the right for every single person to make the decision that is best for them and their body. They are fighting for democracy.
That is what the up cry is about.
PERSONAL CHOICE, PERSONAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOM.
To those that are fighting the hard fight, to those that are HOLDING THE LINE, to those that showed up today to make sure that our people, our nation and our tamariki don't lose their voice. Thank you. Thank you so much. Kia Kaha, stay strong.
