The popular and welcoming Skylark Wetherspoon’s pub has historic ties to the area and is an asset to the local community, attracting all age groups. It is open for breakfast, and serves food all day at affordable prices, and is one of only a few pubs remaining that serve great real ale. It holds regular Beer Festivals and is a profitable pub for the company in our opinion.

The pub brings a diverse community together and offers easy access for disabled/vulnerable people and a safe environment to meet.

Such a huge loss would be significant for the many regulars who use the pub and one Wetherspoon's pub in central/south Croydon is not enough. Write to JD Wetherspoon and voice your opposition to the closure of this fine pub.

If public opinion is strong then we can change the decision to stop the pub becoming another retail shop.
