Justice for Anthony

Justice for Anthony
The Issue
Please help my family bring my brother home. This petition is going straight to the Governor of Illinois for a clemency and or pardon. We need all the signatures we can get to show the support and demand for Anthony's release! My brother was wrongfully accused at the young age of 19 years old of this egregious crime back in 2013. Many years later, he was wrongfully convicted. In 2018 he was sentenced to a death sentence of 95 years. Despite the fact that he has never been to prison or convicted of any crimes prior to this. He has been incarcerated for 12 years now for a crime he did not commit. We are not asking, but demanding Anthony's release due to the surplus of evidence that clearly show Anthony was never involved in this crime. The criminal justice system is broken. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." The mountains of evidence that proves my brother's innocence was not just overlooked but ignored by the all white jury, and outright racist Belvidere Police Department who refused to acknowledge the DNA evidence absolving my brother. Also the fact that one of the victims identified another man with nearly 100 percent certainty in a photo lineup. A eye witness said the shooter had long curly hair and was 5 '6. Anthony is 6 ft tall, and has shaved hair. This is just a piece of what the courts refused to look at. We need your help to join this fight for Anthony's life and freedom. He deserves to see his kids grow up and get back to his life. Society has truly been robbed by the DOJ not allowing my brother to live up to his full potential. We've lost so much in the last 12 years that he has been gone. My family needs him home now, there is no more time to waste. Please sign this petition for clemency. Share this link with your friends, and family to get the word out about his case. Thank you for your support.
