Innocent man of a wrongful conviction sentenced to 109 years in prison

The Issue

Willie Lee Hampton Jr, has been incarcerated for over 20 years for a crime he is actually innocent of. Willie was wrongfully convicted of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Home Invasion and Armed Robbery which resulted of a lifetime sentence of 109 years with the outdate March of 2084. A show up was done at the crime scene and the victim confirmed that Willie was indeed not one of the offenders. Despite the offenders wearing masks, the victim’s statement at the scene, the victim testified she was able to recognize Willie's voice because they attended the same grammar school 11 years prior to the crime happening. Some of the DNA was tested, but none of it came back to Willie. There is even DNA that was not tested, in which Willie has been trying, tirelessly, to get tested but the state of Illinois fights figurously against any efforts that Willie put forth, and Willie, an uneducated African American "from the hood" is no match for the force of the entire state of Illinois. There is even a mask that the Chicago Police recovered that was said to have been worn by an unknown offender, which can be cross compared to already tested DNA that didn't match Willie and Willie's DNA and these results have the potential to actually exonerate Willie. There are shoe impressions that were recovered, and the analysis magically disappeared. These are crucial because the point of entry was said to be the bathroom, and the impressions were found in the tub. Willie's shoes were taken and so were his codefendant's (Cory Durr). They're crucial because the victim and Durr said Durr made entry through the back door. Therefore if the shoe impressions belong to Durr, this means Durr came through the window. This is vital because the Police tortured Willie and Durr, Durr gave a bogus confession in which the judge, in finding Willie guilty said Durr's handwritten statement was "particularly persuasive." These shoe impressions that disappeared will destroy the credibility of Durr's statement and call into the wrongful identification made by the victim of Willie. Not only that, there were fingerprints found in the bathroom too. However, the state completely fabricated the location of the prints. And again in wrongfully convicting Willie, the court held that the location of the prints were key. Willie didn't dispute the prints being his, because he was at a bar-b-que at that residence a day prior to the crime. But now that he learned through FOIA that the location of the print was completely fabricated he now questions the print in general. There is so, so much more from the state attorney threatening witnesses into not testifying to the alleged arresting officers not actually being the real arresting officers. The Chicago police tortured Willie and Cory who were 24 and 18 and while Cory who says he was actually there got an 8 year sentence, Willie got life. We need some help in proving Willie is completely and actually innocent of this crime. There is so much talk, from so many different people, about criminal justice reform today. The buzz is awesome! And while Willie was not murdered in cold blood by the police like some of our fallen angels, he's definately dying a slow death at the hands of crooked police who fabricated testimony and by a injustice system that will not give him a fair shot. Can we please get some help? There's more about the case on a facebook page called Free Lil Willie/Black Movement. If you are in a position to help us uncover the truth please contact me, Willie should not die in prison because he was misidentified and lied on to cover up dirty police work. We can’t fight the system alone! Please help us bring Mr. Hampton back home to his wife and kids.
