I have not forgotten about this petition! I wanted to thank all of you for helping this petition reach 372 signatures. The next goal is to reach 500 signatures. I'm going to continue to lobby my local representative and state senator to support this proposed bill. 

I was unable to make my schedule work with CBS Chicago, so the summer news coverage never happened. But I do not intend on stopping. We're going to call the news again and email the appropriate politicians to try to get attention. My new goal is to get a news interview by Christmas.
