This week’s “Izzy Poll” (posted on Twitter - please search for #IzzyPoll) asks you to guess which day we’re going to hit the target 1000 signatures on this petition.

It’s also a reminder that we’re in the last day/s of these daily petition updates - life will go back to normal for the Izzy “die-hards”: the ones sharing this petition night and day, engaging with posts and making it interesting for others who may not be as die-hard but still curious about Izzy Stradlin.

Life will go back to normal, where nearly all our posts don’t include the hashtag #Izzyconcert2018. Life will go back to normal, when just about every other post about Izzy on social media will be about how good-looking he was when he was 23 (not that there’s anything wrong with that of course); plus the occasional reference to the fact that Izzy used to be in Guns N’ Roses.

For a short while, though - just three weeks - Izzy was our headline news, our diversion from humdrum, something to look forward to, even if it was just to refresh this petition webpage and see how many new names had signed.

It’s not quite the end, though. There is still at least one more day left in this petition. It will stay open to catch the latecomers, and who knows what number it might grow to in a couple more weeks.

After next week, after 1000, the ball will be in Izzy’s court - and who knows, who knows what might happen then.
