IXL has affected many young students with stress and anxiety along with many other mental issues due to multiple mistakes being taken for record and causing them to be in a loop if they answer one question wrong. Getting a singular question wrong can lower their score dramatically which can cause many people to stress over it. Many, including me, have had early mental disorders formed due to IXL and its “personalized teaching” methods.

If IXL is banned many students would be more stress-free and won't suffer with the thought of making one mistake could cost you your entire work. Though it might take a while many websites work the same as IXL but are more fun than PTSD-inducing Ex: Quizzez, Kahoot, Blooket, Gimkit, and much more. With this, teachers might try and teach their students instead of just assigning IXL and not doing their job of teaching.

Now with newer generations of bright young learners coming in, IXL could cause them to suffer like how many children around the world have and help with the growth of mental disorders inside our future leaders. Banning IXL can help these students to not worry, stress, or have anxiety over little mistakes and let teachers teach the students about their mistakes instead of causing PTSD and many mental illnesses of anxiety and stress all across the globe.
