It’s Time to KO! “OK Boomer”
The Issue
My name is Danny Trejo. I’m 82 years old.
Aspercreme and I want your help redefining what “Boomer” really means.
Sign your name, knock out the tired “OK Boomer” stereotype, and help give our generation a definition that actually fits.
I still ride motorcycles. I run restaurants. I lift weights. And I’d do my own stunts if the studios would let me. I’m not slowing down anytime soon.
That makes me a Boomer.
Out of touch? Irrelevant? Past my prime? That’s not me. Never was.
Somewhere along the way, “Boomer” became the internet’s way of dismissing an entire generation — like getting older means it’s time to sit down, shut up and get out of the way.
OK Boomer? No. Let’s KO! Boomer.
Getting older doesn’t mean you stop living on your own terms. If anything, you’ve earned the right to do more of it.
Sure, after decades of living hard, your body’s gonna have a few things to say. Mine does.
But pain doesn’t get the last word. Neither does a tired stereotype.
That’s where Aspercreme comes in. Aspercreme helps take on the pain that tries to slow you down, so you can keep doing the things that make you, you. Together, we’re taking on the labels too.
Aspercreme’s got the pain covered. I’ve got the labels.
So here’s our new definition:
Boomer (noun)
An unstoppable force of nature. Tough as nails. Been through the wringer, knocked out the pain, and still lives life at full volume.
See also: Danny Trejo.
Sound like the Boomers you know? Or the Boomer you are?
Sign your name and join me and Aspercreme in redefining “Boomer.”
The best days aren’t behind us. We’re just getting started.
