It's time to change the game: If Congress is not willing to face the issues, it's time for them to move aside.
The Issue
The People of the United States of America cannot and will not condone such tyranny.
We, The People, have come to the realization that the US Congress has no regard for The People whom they swore to represent in all areas of governance at the Federal level. We have come to understand that their priority is not the welfare of The People, but the welfare and profitability of the corporations that fund their political ambitions. We have come to understand that Congress is more than willing to allow our country to default in its fiscals obligations instead of allowing a marginal tax to be imposed upon those than can afford it – household whose income exceed $250,000.00/year – thus, precipitating necessary budget cuts in public programs without which our country has no hope of maintaining global competitiveness (i.e., public school funding, secondary and post-secondary educational grants, public assistance...). We have come to understand that Congress truly believes that they will be able to balance the Federal Budget Deficit, the cost of War, the cost of all public and social services, the cost of State and Local governments upon the shoulders of the poor and middle-class families; as if the country was a tube of toothpaste to be squeezed from the bottom up
