I think most of us know Google's excessive power is not a good thing. For instance, have you had to purchase an expensive and unneeded secure certificate (HTTPS) for your website to keep them from de-ranking it?

What has spurred me to do this: I run my own mail server, and I've been receiving SPAM emails from Gmail almost every day for weeks. When I complained, they blocked my server IP (Internet address) from sending them emails, and apparently also falsely reported it to SpamHaus (an organization dedicated to stopping SPAM), which then caused other ISPs to also block me.

This is at best unethical. Google needs to be reined in, and the best way to do that is to break up their monopoly power. If you agree, please sign on.
