We, the people of Southeast Georgia, taxpayers, citizens, homeowners, farmers with irrigation and livestock, businesses of men and women, have a deep and grave concern about the potential withdrawal of water from the Floridian Aquifer by the well applications submitted to the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) by Bryan County and Bulloch County. We fail to understand why our government leaders, both hired and elected, have let this process move forward to this point. 

Our concerns are listed below:

-Taxpayer money used to support a foreign car plant.

-Drawing down of the aquifer has the potential to affect private well water.

-We are requesting an in depth study by E.P.D. and D.N.R., and a thorough public debriefing before permitting these wells.

Take a stand and sign the petition to fight the commissioners that want to move forward in this process!
