URGENT - THE NSW ASSISTED DYING BILL MUST NOT BE DELAYED

Here we go again with cynical games being played in NSW Parliament to delay debate on the Bill.  It shows a complete lack of respect for the wishes of the community and the distress of those who are suffering right now.

The Lower House was expected to start debating the Bill tomorrow. However the Government has still not allocated any time for the debate. 

Voluntary assisted dying will also now not go to a final vote in NSW until next year after the state government and Labor agreed to send the Bill (that was to be debated on tomorrow) to an upper house inquiry, delaying any potential reform for months.

We need all MPs to know how angry and upset people are.  

NSW needs everyone's support, just as they have supported Qld.  No delays, no excuses. Just get on with it.  Please use the link to send a message to NSW Politicians.

People in NSW continue to be diagnosed with terminal illnesses and face intolerable suffering at the end of their lives.  It will be a failure of democracy if NSW does not address this issue.
