It is TIME to Fully Reform Presidential and State Representative Term Length!
The Issue
With respect to our heroes of the past, why have there been no changes made to the term length of the offices held in our political system?
Our elected POTUS serves a four year term, not to exceed two terms.
Our elected House of Representatives serves a two year term for their state.
Our Senate serves a six year term for their state representation.
In the 1700’s and 1800’s these term lengths might have served well, as communication and travel took weeks if not months to accomplish.
Travel was mostly experienced by the wealthy, being that it was dangerous or too expensive for the average family or persons.
In 1781 we formed a Constitution in order to form a more perfect union. To establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, promote general welfare, and
secure blessings of liberty among others.
Freedom is having the ability to act or change without constraint. Liberty is to do as one pleases freely from oppressive restrictions. Do we the people
of the United States of America stand Free?
Can you buy a presidency?
Should prisons be privatized?
Should tax evasion numbers be going up for the wealthy and super wealthy?
Does our Environmental Protection Agency prioritize our environment?
Why are sex trafficking numbers climbing in the US?
99% of people trafficked are women and children?
How many of our presidents were white privileged men?
How many years go by before minorities and women are fully represented in our government?
Why have the elite of America been making hundreds of billions as of March 2020, while the majority of our population suffers?
Independence is a condition of a person, nation, country, or state in which its residents and population exercise self government.
We the People have the power to make positive changes for our nation and our world.
Why are we not changing the term lengths of our House of Representatives, President, Vice President and Senate?
Office terms that better represent our time of advancement in communication and technology.
In 1781 the population of the United States was less than three million, with a House of Representatives of 65 members.
The Constitution mentions not to exceed one member of the House of Representatives for every thirty thousand people, which is closer
to representing a larger population. This would put our House of Representatives with member numbers over ten thousand.
Are we being fairly represented with a current population of over three hundred and fifty million? Despite race, sexual preference or sexual orientation?
The Constitution states judicial power shall extend to all classes in law and equity.
Congress can make no law prohibiting religion, freedom of speech, or right to peaceably assemble, or to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Experts now claim 67% of the abilities deemed necessary for superior performance in leadership requires a high emotional intelligence.(Daniel Goleman)
Are our own elected officials taking tests that reflect their emotional intelligence to uphold such representation of the nation?
EQ is the ability to recognize ones own emotions, and those of others, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately,
use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, as well as manage and adapt to ones environment.
Are we headed to totalitarianism without change?

Weapons of mass destruction
Genocide
Secret Police
Control over the Economy
Mass Survillance
Political Repression
Controlled Media
Americans, according to how we define ourselves, are racially and ethnically a diverse population that have been shaped through centuries of immigration.
Would our elected officials of the past fit our America of today?
Why do we hand over power to our elected officials for such an extended period of time - Years?
We cannot change anything until we accept its truth, condemnation does not liberate. (Carl Jung)
