The Issue

As a dedicated fan of Yes, I have always cherished their unique sound and artistic contributions to the world of progressive rock. Like many others, I am particularly captivated by their live and studio recordings, especially those found in the "Keys to Ascension." While the live performances from this collection have received much praise, it is the studio tracks that hold a special place in my heart. They represent a long lost Yes album.

Despite the enduring popularity of Yes and the continuous resurgence of vinyl records, the studio tracks - recorded by Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe and Alan White - from "Keys to Ascension" have never been available on vinyl - a format cherished by audiophiles and collectors alike for its superior sound quality and tangible, nostalgic experience. The rich tapestries of sound crafted in these recordings deserve to be experienced in their full analog glory, not just by streaming them or via limited CD releases in 1996, 1997 and 2001.

To address this, I urge Yes' management and record company to consider issuing the "Keys to Ascension" studio tracks on vinyl. This would not only satisfy dedicated fans who have long awaited such a release but would also introduce these extraordinary compositions to a new generation of listeners who appreciate the warmth and authenticity of vinyl records.

I believe in the power of collective voices and community action. Let's come together to encourage those capable of making this decision to hear our plea. Sign this petition to support the vinyl reissue of Yes’ "Keys to Ascension" studio tracks and help keep the spirit of progressive rock alive and thriving.
