With the Department of Health announcements the past 3 years & announcing the opening of Dedicated Endometriosis Clinics & Hubs we need to be guaranteed that there will be a Quality of Care provided to our community & a National Endometriosis Awareness Campaign Funded

In 2014 what should have been life changing for me in relation to my business model I was due to relocate my Cafe to a better location with the support of an Irish Investment Company where I had Irelands first & only Coeliac Safe Cafe & life was very positive for my mini family - despite me surviving through debilitating illness - a condition I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis at the age of 26 in 2005 but was being treated incorrectly with outdated treatments & given injections that has caused life altering - irreversible damage to my body!

In April 2015 after more than two decades of incorrect care by then I was yet again rushed into hospital with a severe spread of the disease but unknowingly I was not aware that Ireland did not have any Endometriosis Specialists on the Island of Ireland & a framework that is dangerously outdated.

This resulted in me having 7 surgeries in 8 years & a total loss of 6 organs & severe irreversible complications to my hormone function.

Not only has this caused a derailment to my life plans, I ended up having to save my business, get caught up in the Irish Housing Crisis & the loss of income of more than 10 years plus the burden of Medical Costs & delays in our Healthcare System.

This lead me on a lengthy legal battle which has been emotionally & financially taxing.

Thanks to the support of my legal team the past 9 years plans are currently underway for me to meet with the Minister of Health to discuss my harrowing experience & demand change.
