In school, you are only given the option to use either the girls or the boy's bathroom. Schools are not realizing that by only giving these two options students are feeling out of place and are forced to use the bathroom that corallites with their birth gender; not what they identify as.

The bathrooms can help students feel included. The bathrooms also help students feel comfortable with their identity due to no gender restrictions. The pandemic has provided us a perfect opportunity to build the bathrooms. All this is a small step towards the larger goal.
