Fadi Quran, a non-violent Palestinian activist, was arrested by Israeli soldiers during a peaceful protest. Fadi is being charged with pushing an Israeli soldier, but video footage (watch for yourself here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUeJEUX5Vtc) shows that he was speaking, then pepper sprayed, pushed down violently to the ground by soldiers and arrested. Fadi, a Stanford graduate, is studying law and working for an alternative energy company in Ramallah. According to Time magazine he is the face of the new NON VIOLENT Palestinian movement (http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,2062474,00.html) You can also read more about Fadi's non violent efforts here: http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/02/the-arab-spring-comes-to-israel/253600/

Fadi should not be detained for an indefinite period of time on false charges. It is imperative that the Israeli government release Fadi so that he may continue to speak for his people and PEACEFULLY push for basic human rights.
