Israel as a Metaphor: A Call to Implement the ICJ Ruling and Preserve Peace

Das Problem

.We, the undersigned, call on the international community and the government of Israel to respect the ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and end the occupation of the Palestinian territories.

Israel is not just a geographical area, but a metaphor for the people of God, fulfilling God's will and bringing God's love into the world. Historically and biblically, Israel has a right to land and peace, but not to the entire territory of Palestine.

We demand:

1. Recognition of the ICJ Ruling: The occupation of the Palestinian territories is illegal under international law and must end.

2. Peaceful Coexistence: Israel and Palestine should exist side by side in peace and mutual respect.

3. Protection of Human Rights: The rights of all people in the region must be protected and respected.

4. International Support: The international community should actively contribute to resolving the conflict and support the implementation of the ICJ ruling.

Let us stand together for peace and justice and highlight the true meaning of Israel as a metaphor for the people of God.

To better understand the significance and background of our demands, we would like to elaborate on some important points:

1. Historical and Biblical Perspective:

The International Court of Justice has issued its ruling:

The judgment of the 15 judges concludes that Israel has no claim to sovereignty over the occupied territories. It is determined that Israel has violated international law, which prohibits the forcible acquisition of territories, and has blocked the Palestinians' right to self-determination. Furthermore, it was established that states are obliged to "not render aid or assistance in maintaining" the Israeli presence in these territories.

Since the ruling of the highest UN court, which declared Israel's continued presence in the occupied Palestinian territories illegal and called for its swift end, the international response has been significant. Several countries are urging the international community to exert pressure on Israel.

The reactions of the global community:

"Impunity must end": The world reacts to the ICJ ruling against the Israeli occupation. Countries such as Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bolivia, Egypt, Indonesia, Ireland, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Norway, Spain, Slovenia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey have made their positions clear.

Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly emphasized in the past that he sees Israel's control over certain areas as historically and religiously justified and therefore ignores the International Court of Justice's ruling.

Quote: "How can Israel occupy a land that belongs to us? The Jewish people have a historical and biblical right to this land." This statement reflects Netanyahu's view that the land historically and religiously belongs to the Jewish people, which is often used as justification for Israeli policy in the occupied territories.

Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli politicians often refer to various texts from the Old Testament (OT) to support their territorial claims to the land of Palestine. Central to these texts are passages where God grants Israel the land from Egypt to the Euphrates. These texts are often viewed as the historical and religious basis for the claim to the land. For this reason, many Christian countries refrain from criticizing the Netanyahu government.

An essay relevant in this context argues that the term "Israel" or "Promised Land" from a biblical perspective is not tied to geographical boundaries or nationality. Rather, "Israel" and "Promised Land" are metaphors for people who carry out God's will and love in the world.

The document that clarifies the symbolic meaning of these biblical terms is the "Gospel of the Essenes." These historical writings were discovered 100 years ago, in 1923, by Edmond Szekely in the vaults of the Vatican. Furthermore, their authenticity as an unaltered Christian message, or as the divine words revealed by Moses to his people, has been substantiated by other ancient writings.

The essay and the first book of the Gospel of the Essenes are included in "The Gospel of the Essenes by Edmond Szekely. Part 2: Verification of its Authenticity and its 2000-Year-Old Age through the Writings of Nag Hammadi." The Gospel of the Essenes, which contains the unaltered teachings of Moses, was hidden for 2000 years in Rome by the Romans. This document was kept secret because it was altered again 2000 years ago. The motivation for this alteration differed from that of the priests and scribes. 2000 years ago, the words of the Essene Baptist threatened not only the Roman economy but also Roman power. The Romans used this teaching, which once posed the greatest challenge and threat, to their advantage. They built an empire on the life philosophy of the Essenes, which still exists today and has become the richest institution worldwide.

How the first Christian message was altered is described in the essay "The Gospel of the Essenes – Verification of its Authenticity through the Writings of Nag Hammadi." This work proves the authenticity of the Gospel of the Essenes, which also represents the restored Mosaic law. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to read this part first. Once the 2000-year-old age of the Gospel of the Essenes is clear, it makes sense to compare it with the writings of the Old Testament to separate the wheat from the chaff. The comparison of the texts, the original with the alteration in the first book, provides insights into the motives and reasons that led to a change in the texts. Since the strategies are repeated in all the writings of the New Testament, it is possible to clearly distinguish the original writings from the forgeries.

The Essene prophet reveals that he was sent by God to restore the law that Moses gave to his people and that they did not accept. He states that his teaching is the restored teaching of Moses. He explains that the priests and scribes, who were themselves unable to keep the commandments, altered the scriptures. This also happened because they did not want to give up their status as priests, which brought them many benefits – including the best sacrificial pieces and financial advantages. In this context, we can read the following in the Gospel of the Essenes:

Quote: A listener spoke to Jesus:

Moses, the greatest in Israel, allowed our ancestors to eat the flesh of clean animals and forbade only the flesh of unclean animals. Why do you forbid us the flesh of all animals? Which law comes from God? The one from Moses or your law? And Jesus answered: God gave your ancestors ten commandments through Moses. 'These commandments are hard,' said your ancestors, and they could not keep them. When Moses saw this, he had pity on his people and did not want them to perish. For he who has strong feet like Mount Zion needs no crutches; but he who wavers with his limbs gets further with crutches than without them. And Moses spoke to the Lord: "My heart is full of sorrow, for my people will perish. For they are without knowledge and cannot understand your commandments. They are like little children who cannot yet understand the words of their father. If they are not with you, Lord, then do not let them be against you, so that they may preserve themselves, and when the time comes and they are ripe for your words, then reveal your laws to them. Then Moses broke the two tablets on which the ten commandments were written, and he gave them ten times ten in their place. And of these ten times ten, the scribes and Pharisees made a hundred times ten commandments. And they have laid unbearable burdens on your shoulders, which they themselves cannot carry. For the closer the commandments are to God, the less we need; and the further they are from God, the more we need. Therefore, the commandments of the Pharisees and scribes are countless, but the commandments of the Son of Man are seven, those of the angels three, and those of God one: Therefore, I teach you only the commandments that you can understand, so that you become human and follow the seven commandments of the Son of Man.

We also find texts in the New Testament that are consistent with the statements of the Essene prophet.

Mark 12:40: "They devour widows' houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely."

Luke 11:52: "Woe to you, experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering."

The priests and scribes were by no means unwise; they altered the holy scriptures in a very skillful way so that no manipulation could be proven. They did not invent new stories but subtly manipulated the holy words. They changed the meaning of metaphors into concrete statements and concrete statements into metaphors, thus remaining terminologically consistent with the original Mosaic words, such as the terms "Israel" or "Temple."

Furthermore, they removed entire texts, denied or affirmed them as needed, or added small prepositions or words that completely changed the meaning. In some cases, they made God the devil and the devil God to achieve their goals. They used their position to gain worldwide and eternal advantages and to call themselves the chosen people. In this way, they were able to change the law of Moses.

The Essene prophet repeatedly gives us clues as to how the scribes proceeded to falsify the law of Moses by presenting us with the true version of Moses' words.

Not only was the Gospel of the Essenes falsified, but other gospels, which the clergy call forgeries, also contain partly authentic sermons. These authentic texts also provide insight into the true words of Moses, as their forged versions are found as quotes in the New Testament, all altered according to the same principle and with the same motives.

Here are some examples of how the scribes changed the metaphorical meaning of a statement into concrete statements to interpret the sentence in their favor:

1. Temple - God does not care for temples made of stones; His forum is the world.

Quote: If you want the word and power of the living God to enter you, do not defile your body and spirit; for the body is the temple of the spirit, and the spirit is the temple of God. Therefore, cleanse the temple so that the Lord of the temple may dwell therein and take a place worthy of Him.

2. Temple, Altar, Synagogue, Forum:

Jesus Quote: "You ask where you can find the temple of Christ?"

"His altar is not built by human hands; His temple is in the hearts of holy men who have received the maturity to welcome the King. Nature with its forests is His synagogue, and His forum is the world."

3. Israel: A Metaphor

Jesus Quote: "Who is the Israel of God? All those of any people and tribe who practice justice, love, and mercy and follow the commandments of God, these are the true Israel of God."

4. Holy Land/Israel: A Metaphor

Jesus Quote: "Just as the son inherits the land of his father, so we have inherited a Holy Land from our fathers. This land is not a field to be plowed but a place where we can build our Holy Temple."

Further strategies and methods were used to give a different meaning to the divine words of Moses:

1. Concealment and removal of important texts: the overarching role of the earth, the necessity and healing power of fasting, guidance on healthy eating, Satan as the author of diseases, the disregard and defilement of the temple of the body as a sin.

2. There are many places in the Old Testament where the role of Satan was transferred to God. I will give an example that plays a significant role in the topic I am now addressing.

These examples illustrate that the overarching role of physical health in the Old Testament (OT) was suppressed. The metaphorical term "temple," which Moses referred to the body, was concretized into a temple of stone in the biblical writings. This led to the neglect of all aspects related to health and Satan as the cause of diseases. The Essene prophet emphasizes that those who do not keep their temple (body) clean will fall ill. They will become blind, deaf, lose their teeth, their bones will become brittle, and so on.

The Essene prophet from the Gospel of the Essenes reveals that he came to restore the true words of Moses. He gives us clues about the strategies of falsification and shows how the scribes altered the ancient scriptures. For example, the words describing Satan's actions in the case of diseases were transferred to God, making Satan into God. Or the scribes changed the metaphorical meaning of "Holy Land/Israel" into concrete terms, which, when comparing the texts from the Old Testament and the Gospel of the Essenes, clearly reveals the falsification and the underlying intention.

The Gospel of the Essenes gives us the exact origin of the famous saying: "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" and shows us how the falsifiers proceeded. In the following sermon, the Essene prophet mentions that they will become ill if they do not keep their bodies clean as he recommended: They will become blind, deaf, lose their teeth, their bones will become brittle, and so on.

Quote: "For Satan forgives you nothing, and you must pay him for everything."

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot."

"Burn for burn, wound for wound, life for life, death for death."

"For the wages of sin is death."

"Do not kill and do not eat the flesh of your innocent prey if you do not want to become slaves of Satan."

"For this is the path of suffering, and it leads to death."

"But do the will of God, so that His angels may serve you on your life's path."

"Therefore, obey the words of God."

The New Testament, which also contains falsifications and partial truths, is designed to present the writings of the Old Testament as the unaltered word of God. For this reason, it is not revealed that the maxim "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" does not reflect God's way. Instead, the New Testament gives the impression that God is a vengeful God who has changed His stance and is now a God of forgiveness. This becomes clear in Jesus' sermon in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 5, verse 38, where he says:

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also."

This deception in the Old Testament, where Satan's actions were transferred to God, has never been fully uncovered. Therefore, God is still seen by those who believe in the Torah as a God of vengeance...

It seems that the preacher Jesus pointed out these falsifications to the Pharisees 2000 years ago when he said:

John 8:44: "You belong to your father, the devil..."

A harsh accusation that only makes sense in the context I have presented.

The result of my research shows that the New Testament was not falsified by the scribes and priests but by another group that saw the teachings of the Essene prophet as a threat to their economic and political interests. This group manipulated the texts to secure their power.

The authors of the falsifications of the New Testament cannot have been the Jews, for several reasons, including the fact that the New Testament consistently portrays the Jewish people negatively. These portrayals have significantly contributed to modern anti-Semitism. In the New Testament, Jesus is repeatedly depicted as an opponent of the Jews, who allegedly seek his life and do not recognize his divinity. By cursing the fig tree, which symbolizes the house of Israel, Jesus curses his own people and approves the destruction of Jerusalem and its temple because the Jews did not believe in him. Finally, the Jews are portrayed as the instigators and perpetrators of Jesus' crucifixion. The disciples appear as cowardly, slow-witted, unbelieving, and a burden to Jesus, Peter as a hypocrite and denier, Thomas as unbelieving, and righteous Jews like Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea are depicted as cowardly because they do not publicly acknowledge Jesus. Given these portrayals, it is naive to believe that the Jews were the authors of the falsifications of the New Testament.

The “Gospel of the Essenes” leaves no doubt about the authorship of the forgeries of the New Testament. For all those who would like to delve deeper into the subject, I recommend the following title: “The Secret of the True Gospel”, which I wrote on this subject:

However, the question here is whether the terms "Israel" and "Holy Land" are to be understood, as stated in the falsified Bible, or whether they are metaphors, as described in the Gospel of the Essenes. Clarifying this question is crucial for the development in the Middle East. Nearly 40,000 people have lost their lives due to Israeli violence, half of them children. Thousands are still under the rubble. Over 100,000 Palestinians are injured, half of them children. All resources are exhausted, and children are being operated on without anesthesia. Many people in Gaza, including children and infants, have starved. 80% of the buildings in Gaza are uninhabitable. Dozens die daily due to Israeli bombings.

If these terms are to be interpreted metaphorically, then Netanyahu is wrong when he claims from a historical-biblical perspective that the entire land of Palestine belongs to the Jews. Certainly, Israel, like all nations of the world, has a right to land and peace. However, it is evident that the misinterpretation of the terms "Israel" and "Holy Land" has led to the problems that have existed in the Middle East for decades. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has declared the occupation of the territories illegal and a violation of international law, while the Netanyahu government bases its claim to the land on a historical-biblical perspective. The essays presented provide compelling evidence that the biblical traditions have undergone changes and falsifications over time. These findings are of great importance as they challenge the Netanyahu government's claim to the entire Palestine. This issue must be thoroughly examined to enable an informed discussion.

These two titles I have written also give more clarity into what happened 2000 years ago.

2. The Gospel of the Essenes – Israel: A Metaphor

I would like to inform my readers that I am using these essays and other writings on this topic as part of my dissertation at the University of Strasbourg to scientifically substantiate and validate my interpretation of the biblical scriptures.
