This festival of lights (Deepavali) are celebrated by every Indian in Malaysia and world. And being one of 3 major festivals celebrated in Malaysia we are only given one Public holiday as the other two festival  get 2 days for Hari Raya Puasa and Chinese New Year.
This should change along with the new government in action we expect the leaders of nation that we have elected and trusted the nation with will seriously consider this as a new change as well.
