We have heartbreaking news to share.

The geese were at their most vulnerable, when they were molting their flight feathers and therefore unable to fly away.

Kind people are rightly horrified that their hard-earned tax-dollars, meant for education, have been paying federal contract killers to massacre an untold number of gentle, vulnerable geese in district-sanctioned killings year after year and LION is committed to ensuring this never happens again.

The FBI, medical professionals, the police department have all well documented the link between animal abuse and human violence, so it is critical that we teach our children to coexist with wildlife and only pursue humane, nonlethal methods of geese management, such as birth control and chemical repellents.

����� ��������: We will meet at the front of the Islip High School building at 2508 Union Blvd, Islip, NY 11751 at 11:45am, tomorrow July 7. At 12pm, we will walk behind the school and over the bridge over Orowac Lake to the site of the massacre.
