Thank you so much for supporting our petition to save Priory Bay and its woods from the developers.  We have had over 1000 signatures in less than 24 hours, which shows how precious this place is to so many of us.

The planning consultation is over, the plans are partially approved, and the Planning Committee meet on Tuesday at 4pm - only a massive public outcry is going to stop this now.  We have very little time to help save Priory Bay!

If you can spare the time please do some of the following things

- share on social media! Make it personal - describe why Priory Bay is important to you or share your favorite picture of the beach - people are more likely to engage if they know why it matters to you. Share to any groups that may be interested.

-Contact your local IOW councillor or even better members of the Planning Committee. Details of who they are on the IOW council website https://iow.gov.uk/Meetings/current/committee  We are asking that they put conditions on the planning approval to stop development of the wooded areas.

- If you are a member of the National Trust or Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust please contact them to ask what they are doing about this proposal.

- Contact the IOW MP Bob Seeley  bob.seely.mp@parliament.uk asking him to help protect the beach.

- Write to the local papers and online news outlets, comment on any articles you see.

- Anything else you can think of!

If we are going to save the beach from development it will be because we all stand up for it.

Thank you so much for signing, I believe we can do this!
