My name is Finley. I am 7 years old, I live on the Isle of Man and I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy means that my muscles are poorly and it can be difficult for me to get around. It means I can’t always keep up with my friends in the playground.

A medicine called Translarna could help keep my muscles stronger.

Boys like me in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have this medicine, but the Isle of Man Government has told me I can’t.

I need the Isle of Man Government to let me have the medicine.

If I don’t get the medicine then me, my mummy, daddy and sister will have to leave the Isle of Man.

I am asking the Chief Minister of the Isle of Man to help me.
