C'est alors ce qu'on nous promettait. Depuis, nous ne faisons qu'attendre et accuser des reports d'échéancier. Qui semble coupable? Bell.
En période de confinement partiel et pris au piège par la situation du COVID, de nombreux travailleurs requiert l'accès à un internet plus stable. Le retour à l'école approche pour l'ensemble du Québec et une forte majorité des étudiants auront besoin d'internet pour leurs études.
Juillet 2020, nous attendons toujours que la fibre soit déployée. Bien qu'un comité ait été mis en place afin d'accélérer le processus, la population n'a toujours rien vu ou entendu sur les pistes d'actions concrètes pouvant mener au déploiement sur l'ensemble du territoire.
Puisque Bell retarde concrètement le projet, retarde l'éducation de nos enfants, ralenti le développement économique des régions, et devant le mutisme de nos députés, nous demandons aujourd'hui aux gouvernements une prise de position forte et marquée afin d'exclure Bell du projet de la fibre optique.

In a period of partial containment and trapped by the COVID situation, many workers require access to a more stable internet. The return to school is approaching for all of Quebec and a large majority of students will need the Internet for their studies.
As of July 2020, we are still waiting for the fibre to be deployed. Although a committee has been set up to speed up the process, the population has still not seen or heard anything about concrete actions that could lead to deployment throughout the territory.
Since Bell is delaying the project, delaying the education of our children, slowing down the economic development of the regions, and in the face of the silence of our deputies, we are today asking the governments to take a strong and clear position in order to exclude Bell from the fibre optic project.
