Example: @GavinNewsom I am a student at the University of California, Irvine wrestling with high-priced lease termination fees charged by my off-campus housing landlord, the Irvine Company. Other students at UCI, college students throughout the state of CA, and I need the opportunity to leave our leases penalty-free! Our campuses are closed, we've lost our jobs, and parents supporting their college students are facing financial insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis. We need a statewide order granting lease relief!
