Every day 23 trains that stop at Portmarnock Station pass through Clongriffin without letting passengers board or disembark. If these trains serviced Clongriffin this would result in a 30% increase in the level of service.

A more frequent service would make the Station more attractive to use and would create higher footfall making the station safer for commuters.
