The government will destroy schools across our Country with the RUTHLESS budget cuts they are imposing on schools.  Children are being forced to now share teachers and mixed year classes are becoming more common than ever before. Class numbers are now close to 40 resulting in less student/teacher interaction.

This is not fair on the teachers who now have to split their working day to teach different curriculum's but it's also a disgrace to put this pressure on children.  They form friendships for years only to be separated and put in with strangers.  Why? Because our government continue to cut funding for education every year without  thought or care to the children it may affect.

This has to STOP.  We ask you to please sign and share this petition. Not only for your local school, who may be going through this, but for ALL SCHOOLS in Ireland. Some day they too might go through this if we keep allowing it to happen.
