Ban the burka in public place in Ireland

Ban the burka in public place in Ireland
The Issue
We, the undersigned petitioners hereby request Government to immediately:
Ban the wearing of the Islamic Niqab and Burka in public places in Ireland.
France, Belgium, Austria and most recently Denmark have banned the Burqa, with some going further and banning the Niqab as well.
The wearing of this form of headdress is based on the Sharia / Islamic Ideology, and has no bearing on any religious practice.
These headdresses are confrontational and intimidating to some Irish people.
Hijab appears in the Quran 7 times, 5 of them as "hijab" and twice as "Hijaban". None of these "hijab" Words are used in the Quran in what Muslims call "the dress code for Muslim Woman". Hijab in the Quran is not related to Woman's dress code.
