Dear Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak

We, the undersigned citizens of the United Kingdom, are writing to express our deep concern over the activities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a paramilitary organization that operates in Iran.

The IRGC has a long history of involvement in terrorist activities, including providing material support to terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas. The group has also been implicated in numerous attacks on Western interests, including the 1983 bombing of the US Marine barracks in Beirut, which killed 241 American servicemen.

We believe that the IRGC poses a serious threat to global security, and as such, we are calling on the UK government to add the group to the list of proscribed terrorist organizations.

By taking this step, the UK would be sending a strong message to the IRGC and other groups that engage in terrorism that their actions will not be tolerated. It would also help to protect British citizens and interests both at home and abroad.

We urge the government to act swiftly and decisively in this matter, and we call on all members of parliament to support this important initiative.

‘’In the name of Iran, greetings and respect to all my dear fellow citizens. I am Shervin Savadkouhi and along with my comrade Habil Mahour, we have decided to go on a dry hunger strike in front of the British Parliament in London, starting from Wednesday, May 9th, 1983, to protest against the British government's disregard for the Iranian people's national revolution. 

As everyone is aware, in these past few months, we have done everything in our power to support the Iranian national revolution in every way possible. Unfortunately, the British government has paid little attention to our protests, demonstrations, and sit-ins, and their interests and relationships behind the scenes have prevented any meaningful support for Iranian freedom fighters. 

Therefore, we had no choice but to resort to a dry hunger strike and put our lives at risk to demand that the British government at least agrees to place the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on the list of terrorist groups. This is the biggest state-sponsored terrorist group in the world, which not only engages in massacre, torture, rape, and assassination inside Iran, but also poses a threat to the security of the Middle East and the whole world. 

It should be noted that the criminal acts of the IRGC have also been proven by security officials in Britain and pose a grave danger to the people and the country of Britain. The nature of the IRGC is clear and obvious to all governments, and we demand that the British government places the IRGC on the list of terrorist groups. We will persist in our demand until history records and documents which governments have stood beside our people and which ones have only paid lip service.

با سلام به نخست وزیر ریشی سوناک،

ما، امضا کنندگان شهروند انگلیسی، نگرانی عمیق خود را درباره فعالیت‌های سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی (سپاه)، سازمانی پارامیلیتریک که در ایران فعالیت می‌کند، اعلام می‌کنیم.

سپاه تاریخ طولانی از مشارکت در فعالیت‌های تروریستی، از جمله ارائه حمایت مادی به سازمان‌های تروریستی مانند حزب‌الله و حماس، دارد. این گروه همچنین در بسیاری از حملات به منافع غربی، از جمله بمب گذاری سال 1983 در پایگاه نظامی در بیروت، که 241 سرباز آمریکایی را کشته است، دست داشته است.

ما معتقدیم که سپاه تهدید جدی برای امنیت جهانی است و به همین دلیل، از دولت انگلیس خواستار اضافه کردن این گروه به فهرست سازمان‌های تروریستی ممنوع‌التداوم هستیم.

با اقدام به این گام، انگلیس پیام قوی به سپاه و سایر گروه‌هایی که در تروریسم دخالت دارند می‌فرستد که اعمال آنها قابل قبول نیست. این اقدام همچنین به حفاظت از منافع و شهروندان بریتانیایی در داخل و خارج از کشور کمک خواهد کرد.

ما از دولت خواهان اقدام سریع و قاطع در این مورد هستیم و از تمامی اعضای پارلمان خواهش می‌کنیم که این طرح مهم را حمایت کنند.

از توجه شما به این موضوع قدردانی می‌کنیم.

بنام ایران ،درود و عرض ادب خدمت همه هموطنان عزیزم ،شروین سوادکوهی هستم و به همراه همرزمم هابیل ماهور تصمیم گرفتیم در اعتراض به بی توجهی دولت بریتانیا به انقلاب ملی ایرانیان از روز سه شنبه نهم می برابر با نوزدهم اردیبهشت دوهزار و پونصد و هشتاد و سه پادشاهی در مقابل پارلمان بریتانیا در لندن دست به اعتصاب غذای خشک بزنیم ،همانطوری که همگان آگاه هستن در این چند ماه همه سعی و تلاش خودمون رو از هر راهی برای حمایت از انقلاب ملی ایران انجام دادیم اما متاسفانه دولت بریتانیا کمترین توجهی به اعتراضات و تجمعات و تحصن های ما انجام نداده و همچنان منافع و مناسبات پشت پرده موجب شده در عمل هیچگونه حمایتی از مبارزین ایرانی صورت نگیرد ، بنابراین برای ما چاره ای باقی نمانده بود تا با تحصن خشک و در خطر قرار دادن جانمان از دولت بریتانیا بخواهیم با خواسته حداقلی ما که قرار دادن سپاه پاسدارن انقلاب اسلامی در لیست گروههای تروریستی است موافقت کند که بحق بزرگترین گروه تروریستی دولتی در دنیاست که نه تنها در داخل ایران دست به کشتار و شکنجه و تجاوز و ترور میزند بلکه امنیت خاورمیانه و همچنین سراسر دنیا را به مخاطره انداخته است ،لازم به یاداوری است که اعمال مجرمانه سپاه پاسداران در کشور بریتانیا نیز توسط مقامات امنیتی اثبات شده است و برای مردم و کشور بریتانیا یک خطر بلقوه محسوب میشود ، ماهیت سپاه پاسداران بر تمامی دولت ها روشن و واضح است و ما درخواست میکنیم که سپاه پاسداران در لیست گروههای تروریستی دولت بریتانیا قرار بگیرد ،ما تا پای جان بر خواست خود پافشاری خواهیم کرد تا در تاریخ ثبت و ضبط شود چه دولت هایی در کنار مردم ما ایستاده اند و چه کسانی تنها لفاظی کرده اند .
