Irelands Neutrality Triple Lock system

Irelands Neutrality Triple Lock system
The Issue
Petition to the Government of Ireland:
Éire Nua demand a Referendum Before Making Any Changes to the Triple Lock
We, the undersigned people of Ireland, stand united in defence of our nation's sovereignty and neutrality.
The Triple Lock—requiring UN, Government, and Dáil approval before deploying Irish troops overseas—is a cornerstone of our foreign policy and a vital safeguard of our independence.
We say: No changes to the Triple Lock without the explicit consent of the Irish people.
Éire Nua has launched a national mobilisation campaign to retain and protect Irish neutrality. We ask:
Do you want your sons or daughters fighting in foreign wars that are not ours?
Do you want unelected forces or foreign powers deciding Ireland’s role in global conflicts?
Do you want our historic neutrality quietly dismantled without your voice being heard?
We say NO.
We call on the Free State Government to honour the will of the people they serve.
Any attempt to change the Triple Lock system must be put to the people in a national referendum.
Nothing less is acceptable.
We demand:
- No changes to Ireland’s Triple Lock system without a referendum.
- The protection of Irish neutrality as a fundamental principle of our foreign policy.
- A government that listens to and respects the voice of the people.
This is a moment of truth for our nation. We must act now.
Defend the Triple Lock. Defend Irish neutrality. Defend democracy.
