Today - right now! - an RTÉ film crew is filming our friend Fiona Crawley's Bog Garden for a brand new programme called "Ireland's Best Gardens". We'll all be able to watch it in August. Exciting!
Last week members of An Taisce's Climate Ambassador Programme visited us and we gave them a tour of the bog. They're making an educational film that will be shared in October for Climate Week.
We only need a few more people to reach our goal of 10,000 signatures.

No matter where we are, we are all experiencing crazy weather. Here in Ardee it's taking the form of a beautiful heatwave. But it’s hard to forget our friends who have been affected by floods, deadly heatwaves, storms, wildfires, droughts, crop failures...
As Greta Thunberg said, This is not “the new normal”. We’re at the very beginning of a climate and ecological emergency, and extreme weather events will only become more and more frequent.
We need our bogs now more than ever.
