Now that it's September (!) I'll be getting ready to submit this petition very soon. So, this is your last chance to share it! Wouldn't it be nice to get to 10,000 signatures?

In case you're interested, tomorrow  -  Thursday, September 3rd  -  I'll be speaking with the Chilmark Library on Martha's Vineyard about my recent work, briefly mentioning this campaign for Ardee Bog.

I'll also be chatting about my book About Trees, the NYC Tree Alphabet, the new Irish Tree Alphabet.

The talk is at noon my time in California, 3pm local time in Chilmark/NYC, 8pm in Ireland.

PS: In case you're wondering, NO! the COVID-19 pandemic hasn't stopped the Irish government's plans to build the N52 Ardee bypass. They will be shortly announcing the next phase and I will submit the petition when they have a public consultation. Remember, this is Ecocide and as we're in a Climate Emergency, we have to ensure projects like this are stopped.
