The Issue
Honorable Secretary of State, Mr. Mike Pompeo,
You had an interview with Ms. Laura Ingraham on April 22, 2020 and referred to the one, and the only one “Persian Gulf” as the “Arabian Gulf”.
Sir, with all due respect for you and your position, this historical body of water is and will always be the “Persian Gulf. Most Iranians do not support or approve of the Islamic Republic of Iran however, we are proud of our heritage and what rightfully belongs to us.
Secretary Pompeo, we the undersigned request that you issue a statement correcting this error.
