Tonjanique Grubbs started this petition to Iowa State House and

My name is Tonjanique Grubbs, I am a 16 year old wanting justice for my brother Donte Grubbs. Recently my brother was charged guilty for 1st degree robbery with no solid evidence/proof that he did the allegations formed against him. They did illegal actions after the jury trial was closed. The state attorney made up a lie that my brother was connected with another robbery in Cedar Rapids which they have no evidence of. They took mugshots of my brother after the jury trial was ending to use when they played the video of the person. The audio played was an African man’s accent and sounds nothing like my brother at all. The only thing they have is a picture of my brother walking down the street. I asked that everyone who sees this to sign this. My brother is a father of 3 beautiful children, he has siblings that he adores, a grandmother and mother who do nothing but support him. I will not stop fighting until my brother gets the justice that he deserves. They have done this to thousands of black men in the United States all together. I want my brother set free and at home safe. My goal is to get 500,000 signs for Iowa to take legal action and set my brother free. I appreciate all the support, and God bless all.
