Racial Disparities In Iowa

Racial Disparities In Iowa
The Issue
The racial disparities in Iowa Laws and procedure of how minorities are treated. Troy Mure was the young man who accidently killed his girlfriend, Scalicity Perez. The media is saying he was drunk without knowing if he was drunk from the night before or if it was from that morning. Troy is being held in polk county jail on an 605,000 dollar bond while DEANNA MARIE GLIEM is being held on the same charges and her bond is 120,000.
Troy has an history, some where he was convicted and some where he was found not guilty, but yet the media is bringing up those charges and disrespecting the deceased Scalicity Perez (kcci). These are two people being charged with the same thing except the woman killed two people and Troy accidently killed one. Troy was also being shot at during the incident that involved his girlfriend, which he has an witness to support his claim. Troy was in the hospital not even 24 hours and was sent to polk county jail and charged expeditiously while a man who killed his daughter and wife and attempted to kill his self is still sitting in the hospital. Troy had to be taken out of the car with the jaws of life.
Not only that, Iowa laws on drugs and the racial disparities Iowa Code 901.10 states: Notwithstanding subsection 1, if the sentence under section
124.413 involves an amphetamine or methamphetamine offense under
section 124.401, subsection 1, paragraph "a" or "b", the
court shall not grant any reduction of sentence unless the defendant
pleads guilty.Which is Meth and cocaine, which society views as an "white drug" where most drug users and dealers of those drugs are white. There are no reductions for pleading guilty in crack cases unless you help the prosecution.
