Remove the Almost Always-online DRM from Hitman

Le problème

Hitman is one of the most successful franchises in the video games world. With its consistency, continued evolution, and progression throughout every game released it has made a lot of BIG fans (including me) who played and replayed every one of these games.

With The World of Assassination trilogy, IOI was brilliant and smart and brought out a lot of ideas that took this franchise to a whole new level. Especially with Hitman 3 which would make every Hitman fan's dream come true if it weren't for the incomprehensible decision of implementing an almost always-online DRM that made the experience frustrating for most of the players.

If you play this franchise offline the only thing you will be able to do is complete the levels and that's it. Which is the exact opposite of what this game was made for. You won't complete any challenges, unlock any items, get a score, make any achievemnt nor play any of the other game modes that aren't part of the story mode (which are not multiplayer).

I, and am sure that more than 80% of the players believe that this always-online DRM should be removed for various reasons such as:

-The fact that it makes no sense to implement such DRM in a singleplayer game (no microtransactions, pvp mode...)

-Internet coverage isn't that good in many places around the globe, including where I'm from. Internet here literally goes down several hours everyday and some times it takes days for the provider to fix it.

-IOI servers aren't that good. A lot of people still can't play Hitman 3 at all because they can't connect the servers. IOI is aware of this but the game has been out for 3 days and they haven't made the slightest progress to solve this. (Not to mention the random disconnects we get every 5 mins)

-This DRM is punishing legit customers and benifits pirates who can use decrypted savegames and can basically unlock everything and have the full experience.
