The Issue

To,

The Hon’ble Union Home Minister, Government of Bharat

The Hon’ble Chief Minister & Home Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh

The Director General of Police (DGP), Uttar Pradesh

All District Magistrates and Police Commissioners of Bharat

We, the concerned and law-abiding citizens of Bharat, are launching this nationwide petition to demand immediate, stringent, and exemplary preventive detention against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati (alias Deepak Tyagi).

Recently, highly derogatory, vulgar, and malicious video clips have surfaced across social media platforms, showing the accused publicly targeting the late former President of Bharat and legendary aerospace scientist, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. By branding one of Bharat’s most revered national icons as a "traitor" and a "jihadi," and fabricating completely baseless allegations regarding the leakage of atomic, defense, and space secrets, the accused has deeply wounded the collective conscience of 1.4 billion + citizens.

Dr. Kalam is a symbol of absolute patriotism, transcending all barriers of religion, caste, and politics. An assault on his legacy is a direct attack on the sovereignty, honor, and dignity of the Republic of Bharat.

The accused is a documented, habitual repeat offender who has systematically abused his personal liberty. Over 20 First Information Reports (FIRs) are currently registered against him across multiple states - including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, and Delhi.

Ordinary penal provisions under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the repeated grants of regular bail by lower courts have completely failed to act as a legal deterrent. Every single time the accused is released on bail, he immediately violates his judicial conditions by releasing further inflammatory addresses. His unchecked freedom poses a continuous, imminent threat to public tranquility, communal harmony, and national integration.

Under Section 3 of the National Security Act (NSA), 1980, the executive branch holds the explicit statutory power to place an individual under preventive detention if their continuous actions are deemed "prejudicial to the maintenance of public order." We assert that his repeated slurs against a former Head of State and his continuous hate speech meet the exact threshold required for an NSA detention warrant.

Our Definitive Demands:

1. Immediate Invocation of the NSA:

We urge the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Ministry of Home Affairs to immediately issue a preventive detention order under the National Security Act (NSA), 1980, against Yati Narsinghanand to permanently halt his threat to public peace.

2. Cancellation of Existing Bails: We demand that state prosecution agencies immediately move higher courts to revoke all his current bails due to the continuous and blatant violation of bail conditions.

3. Fast-Track Judiciary Proceedings: We request the judiciary to fast-track all pending trials against him to ensure the maximum statutory prison sentences are awarded without delay.
