Golf Sidekick deserves a spot in the Internet Invitational.

The Internet Invitational brings together some of the biggest personalities in YouTube golf. But there's one creator we'd love to see on the course in 2027: Golf Sidekick.

With more than 400,000 YouTube subscribers, Golf Sidekick, a.k.a. Matty Boom Boom,  has built a passionate global community around a refreshingly different approach to golf: smarter course management, better decisions, less stress, and actually enjoying the game.

But Golf Sidekick is more than an instructional channel. His humor, unmistakable personality, and unique philosophy have made him one of the most recognizable voices in online golf.

Here's why he belongs in the 2027 Internet Invitational:

• A proven audience: More than 400,000 YouTube subscribers and a dedicated international following.
• A unique personality: His dry humor, trademark catchphrases, and unconventional approach would bring a different energy to the competition.
• A different philosophy: While other creators focus on distance, swing mechanics, and highlight-reel shots, Golf Sidekick champions strategy, mental toughness, and playing the game you actually have.
• A genuine fan favorite: His followers don't just watch his videos. They've embraced an entire philosophy of golf.
• Great entertainment potential: Imagine Golf Sidekick navigating the pressure, trash talk, team dynamics, and questionable course management decisions of the Internet Invitational.

This isn't about replacing anyone or criticizing the incredible creators already participating. It's about making an entertaining event even better.

We're calling on the organizers of the Internet Invitational, Barstool Sports, and Bob Does Sports to extend Golf Sidekick an invitation to compete in 2027.

And, of course, Matt would have to accept!

If you've ever laid up like a baus, avoided a hero shot, or hit a shot with confidentiality, you know why this matters.
