We as residents of Danville, VA would like an investigation of the Danville Utilities department. For years we've been paying outrageous rates for electricity. January 2018 utility costs may be the worst we've seen yet. Unfortunately the costs will only go up from here and many residents will have to live without power. Our community has been suffering from the burden of these outrageous bills for years and change is long overdue. We should no longer have to choose between rent or lights when assessing the necessities of our homes.
