THE OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL- I have filed numerous complaints with the OIG's office since early 2022 regarding abuse and harassment by coworkers and Postmasters. I was never once contacted by the OIG's office regarding any of these complaints.
In October of 2024 someone finally called me from the OIG's office. I can't remember her name but the woman on the phone told me they had never received any complaints from me regarding harassment. Well I have a copy of most of my complaints and the emails confirming my complaints were sent to them so this was either just a blatant lie or total unwillingness on behalf of this agency to actually investigate.
This agency is the 1 agency responsible for overseeing the USPS and I hear it all the time from other USPS employees about how their complaints go ignored by the OIG's office. In July 2023, I notified them about Mary Goodhile drinking alcohol at the Jim Thorpe post office on the job. To my knowledge, the OIG's office did nothing about it. This is the same agency that investigates customer complaints regarding the mail.
A few months ago, our office was being investigated by the OIG's office over my allegations that Dana Yaglowski was purposely targeting me in this office. I was interviewed by a Tiffany Vasquez. She supposedly interviewed the entire office. I do not know the results of that investigation. What I do know and what I find most odd about this interview is how Tiffany Vasquez took 15 minutes out of her interview with me to ask me what race I was, then point out how everyone else at the Jim Thorpe post office was the same race as me, while trying to convince me that I wouldn't win a discrimination case against the USPS.
Why would someone investigating our office supposedly from an "unbiased" point of view even bring this up? It was really quite odd to sit there in front of her while she was bringing up my EEO against the USPS. It was as if she was there trying to protect the USPS instead of actually investigating. But she failed miserably because obviously she is unaware or lacks the knowledge about what discrimination is and failed to convince me.
At the same time Tiffany Vasquez was investigating our office, the USPS sent their THREAT ASSESSMENT TEAM to investigate. I do not know the results of that investigation either but everything I have written in this petition was told to those 2 individuals at the time.
There are also many POLITICIANS who have been contacted by myself and many other employees at USPS regarding management abuse and harassment. Very few politicians have done something about it. The ones refusing to act will continue to refuse to act unless somehow a national scandal were to break out about the abuse at USPS regarding their management. This scandal will only break out when USPS employees decide they have had enough and it's time to start speaking out.
Yes the USPS retaliates against these people and they also try to terminate us. It's the reason most USPS employees do not speak out. And our unions do not back us up when it's needed the most. In Part 3 I am outing out the individuals in the NALC who knew about all the incidents over the last 4 years but did NOTHING on my behalf. It's going to be hard to believe some of the things that were said to me by people who were supposed to have my back and protect me.
