JENNIFER TORRACO- This psychopath was the manager, later on Postmaster, in charge at the Jim Thorpe post office upon my arrival in May of 2021.

Things in this office were great for about the first 2 months I was there even though my first month I was told by Jennifer Torraco that my coworker, Robert Mangarell, not only wanted to become a regular but also wanted the route I was on.

In August things started to take a turn for the worse when my 2 abusive coworkers, Robert Mangarell and Mary Goodhile decided they were going to start yelling and cursing at me in the office whenever they pleased.  Jennifer Torraco started allowing them to do whatever they wished with me and even at times participated in ganging up on me in the office as witnessed by 3 individuals.  I believe because I became the union steward in the office and wasn't allowing Jennifer Torraco to steal overtime from the city carriers anymore that is the reason she decided to come after me. 

In November of 2021, I went to Jennifer Torraco for a 3rd time asking her to put an end to Robert Mangarell and Mary Goodhile constantly using me as a punching bag in this office and I told her I was not going to put up with it anymore and I would start lashing out at both of them if it continued.  Each time I went to Jennifer Torraco, she always would reply that I was the problem in the office.  Only this 3rd time in November she told me if I lashed out at Robert Mangarell and Mary Goodhile I would be placed on Emergency Placement.  She never offered any help dealing with these 2 abusive coworkers.  She not only allowed their behavior but also encouraged it.

I found out in February of 2022, her first attempt at getting rid of me is when she called up the office of inspector general in September of 2021 about me playing the lottery on my lunch break at Tommy's Subs.  Just to show the pathological liar she is, Jennifer Torraco had told me the inspectors contacted her about me playing the lottery at Tommy's and she told me she had to tell the inspectors I was a great worker and she defended me.  Yes, so she actually lied to me about the whole incident to begin with.  Nevermind that there was a coworker of mine always running a Superbowl pool on the clock in the office right in front of her.  Nevermind other employees in this office were also lottery players.  She had no interest in reporting these employees.  Just myself even though I was not on the clock when it happened.  The inspectors told her they couldn't do anything about it and from what I was told by a witness, Jennifer Torraco was not happy about this.  So she resorted to other ways to try to fire me.

In December of 2021, I found out from a coworker that Jennifer Torraco was falsely accusing me of threatening to kill everyone in my office.  What followed in 2022 were months and months where I was continuously harassed and investigated by USPS inspector Sean Phillips over Jennifer Torraco's constant lies about me.

When no evidence could be found that i ever threatened anyone (not even the 2 coworkers who hated me were willing to lie on Jennifer Torraco's behalf), she resorted to making up another lie about me.  One day I was making my way to work and Jennifer Torraco was already at the dock waiting for me.  She was a serial harasser who harassed me anytime she could, including off the clock.  I ignored her and made my way inside the building to clock in.  Next thing I knew she was on the phone with someone saying that I was refusing to leave the building.  I was handed the phone.  It was the POOM (Post Office Operations Manager), Christina Balliro.  I was told by her I was being placed on Emergency Placement for pushing Jennifer Torraco, that I was a threat to everyone in the building and needed to leave immediately.   I was suspended without pay and the USPS tried to fire me.  My union, the NALC had to fight to get me my career back.  I had a witness who wrote a statement they never saw me push Jennifer Torraco.  I later found out Jennifer Torraco tried getting my witness to change their statement. 

She was so desperate to get rid of me she also resorted to purposely committing a Federal crime.  Every week she was trying to write me up for something.  When she wrote me up for attendance, she purposely falsified not 1 but 10 attendance forms to try justifying writing me up but not my coworkers.  Those 3971 forms have a warning on the bottom that falsifying information can result in not more than 5 years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine.  The NALC gave her a slap on the wrist for this.

I was told by a former employee at this office that they reported Mary Goodhile's drinking alcohol on the job to Jennifer Torraco but nothing ever came of it.

In 2022 I started filing complaints against this Postmaster with the OIG's office (office of inspector general).  I was never contacted by them.  In July 2022 she was finally moved to a different office.  This is the pattern USPS has with abusive and problem managers, just move them around.  She received a $10,000 raise to be Postmaster at the Pine Grove post office.  Today she is the Postmaster of the Pottsville office.  She receives a salary of $113,691 to be an ABUSER.
