This horrific abuse occurred years before the tragic events of 1989 when the brothers took drastic action against their parents. Their actions were not solely driven by greed, as widely reported, but were deeply rooted in years of sustained abuse, which have been overshadowed by the nature of their consequent crimes.

Additionally, Roy Rosello, a former member of the popular band Menudo, has come forward with allegations of sexual abuse by Jose Menendez in New Jersey in 1984. Rosello's testimony echoes the traumatic experiences described by the Menendez brothers, suggesting a pattern of predatory behaviour by Jose Menendez.

These allegations deserve thorough investigation and reassessment. The justice system owes a comprehensive inquiry not only to Lyle and Erik Menendez but also to Roy Rosello and other potential victims to bring the full scope of Jose Menendez’s actions to light.
