Since May 19th, Joseph Awuah-Darko, Derrick Ingram, Nathaniel Lloyd Richards and Terrell Armstead have publicly come forward on Instagram about being sexually assaulted by Kehinde Wiley. Since then, we have been approached by other victims who are too afraid to come forward.

It is crucial that the beneficiaries of the artist's career be involved in pushing for accountability. Galerie Templon​, Sean Kelly Gallery, and other institutions who exhibit and respresent Kehinde Wiley, should conduct thorough and independent investigations into these claims to ensure justice and support for all victims - especially those within the art world. We must empower those who have suffered in silence and create a safe space for victims to come forward.
